How long after implantation can dental veneers/crowns be applied?

Once implantation is done, it is expected not to bond with the bone. In some cases, it can be done one week after the implants in a special procedure that will be performed in our clinic. This bonding is a process of healing like a broken bone is bonding. For this reason it is better to wait for about 2-3 months in a healthy individual. Depending on the condition of the bone or the number of implants made, removable or fixed prostheses are made in this process. The patient does not become toothless during the healing process. However, if implantation requires bone graft, the healing time can increase. The reason for this is that the placed bone graft melts over time and creates new bone in that region. In such a case, the amount of bone graft used and the healing time vary from 6 to 12 months, depending on the area in which it is placed.
